Flew first leg of 1920 trans-Canada flight.  Original plan was for non-stop Halilfax to

tests.  Lost cowling west of St. John’s
NB, damaged engine fuel line when flew off. 
Further damaged during forced landed in St. John’s River, never flown
by CAB again.  Returned to
